Most of you know I have a mobile detailing business and get to work on some really high end exotics, so I have been looking for an equally high end wax (that I can charge more for when I use it, of course) to satisfy my filthy rich clientle. I've been hitting a few dedicated detailing boards in my quest for the best high end wax (and to learn as much as I can about unfamiliar products so I can impart that knowledge in the Show and Shine forum-looking out for y'all).

I traded some of my Body Shop Pro polishes for a nearly (probably 98%) full 8 oz can of Pinnacle Souveran, which normally runs around $70 for that size (which works out to $1142 a gallon, compared to $28 a gallon for Meguiars #26).

I tried it on mine-supposed to work best on red and black cars (Pinnacle Paste Glaz for light cars, and about 1/2 the price). The results were stunning-my paint looks liquid-like if you blew on it, you would see little waves. I'd post a pic, but I left my camera in a rental last month and some asswipe stole it (dropped it off at closing, called first thing in the morning, they claimed they couldn't find it). I also must mention that it goes on as smooth as melted butter and wipes off with ease. No white powder, no residue in the cracks and emblems, either.

I still think Meguiars Body Shop Professional line is the best for paint prep (polishes, cleaners, swirl removers, etc), but this is the best wax I've ever used.

Attention main forum mods: Do not move this immediately to the Show and shine forum-too few members go there, and I feel it is my duty as OT's detailing God to spread the word about Pinnacle.

I have been using Pinnacle for over 3 years now... OWNS Zaino by far, I don't think it lasts as long, but the shine/glow makes it sooo worth it.

My Audi/Porsche dealer uses it and my dad's friend jaguar/ferrari dealership uses it on their cars.

It has a much richer shine. Zainos (like Klasse) has great, sharp reflections, but they just don't have the deep, wet look of a carnuba. Zainos or Klasse would last longer. Pinnacle as a topper on either one would offer both the wet shine of carnuba with the longevity of a synthetic.

BTW, I have a pic of my hood with a can of Pinnacle Paste Glaz reflecting like mad if anyone wants to host it so I can post it.

Zymol is a PAIN IN THE FUCKING ASS to work with... plus it just isn't worth the price they charge for it.

Yeah, but Zymol's durability sucks. Did pretty much the worst on www.thewaxtest.org in durability and shine was just average.
