I literally am maintaining 165-170 solid and im having a hard time pushing my caloric intake any lower than it already is (around 2k). I train (hard) everyday almost with jiujitsu and 3 day 1 off my crossfit workouts.

Am I not eating enough? I definitely dont eat as clean as I should, but i'll go nuts if it's too hardcore.

hrm, so what do you think.. more food, or less?

Food varies from noodles.. soup.. chicken.. breads..

Should I cut the breads? I love bread so I typically eat a lot of it.. I also eat a lot of fruit.. but mainly my dinners are soup or like ramen noodle soup.. I haven't been taking any supplements either

I just need something to kick me over this hump im stuck at.. i'd like to be competing at 155.. but I seem to be stuck in the 170 range

wait, i just actually read that cause i felt bad about rick rossing your thread....

did you say youre trying to lower your caloric intake, and diet down more with.....bread and ramen noodles?

    is this a serious thread?

i dont even know where to begin but try substituting worthless shit like bread and ramen with brown rice, veggies, buckwheat and oats.

theyre not going to taste as good, trust me, but theyre complex healthy carbs that will make a big difference, fruits are good fast carbs eat them around workouts. dont forget your proteins, salmon, beef, chicken.

I thought eating these awesomely tasty bread rolls at work and bagels would keep me energised all day.. then I thought the fruit before my workouts would give me a boost and I thought the soup or noodles would be a nice clean way to end the night

Guess maybe I should go back to chicken and veggies and just add some of what pat said

also, sweet potatoes. to get lean, the first thing you do is cut out bread and sugars.

If you have to use something, use that imitation spray butter.

soups and ramens are really high sodium as well, you are probably retaining a lot of water. try some of the low sodium stuff, might help.

I tried this one because OT main forum said it was good. It was total crap. Stick with Neoguri or Shinnameun if I ever get a instant noodle craving.

Bit, If you want to compete at 55 then you should really cut from like 65 or so(around where you are) so just maintain and tighten it up around competition time.
