I guess these are pretty damn rare in the US? I doubt they sold them over their because it's too small or something.

Tiny car with a 2 litre engine, love this thing

By the way, it may look like a kitted and lowered clio but it's 100% standard and left the factory this way.

I've always wanted one of those :o It's a shame we can't get Renaults here in the US, we have to make do with the crap sub-compacts that american companies try to maike...

    I'd quite like a 240Z :naughty: (hope its a 240)

    Is that yours?

Thanks for the replies. I want to take out the back seats to make it lighter but its a bit :hsugh: It does shave off 20kilos though.

Yup, it is mine, and it is a 240.

I've got another 280Z that was going to get an LD28 from a maxima in it, but now I might hold off and put in a Mercedes diesel straight six in instead :o

Course, I need money for that first :/

    Ooops forgot about this thread.

Verrrrry nice. A 240 is on my realistic cars to own list along with many many others. But first, I really want a phase 2 Clio V6 to go along side my 172 :)

The 280 build sounds interesting, I'll keep an eye out for it if you ever do it.

There'll be a thread on here if I ever do the MB diesel. Not looking very likly right now though, might have to sell it to pay off some bills untill I can get a new job :/

And you have no idea how much I want a Clio V6. Tell you what, I'll trade you the 280 for yours if you ever get one :p

Had a race with a variant of this car the other day on a strip near me. Was the 2.0 16v Williams version. Quick as fucking horse shit. I expected to blow it away in my R26, turns out it was a stayer!

Sorry lads, looks like I forgot to come back here :o
Just washed it again tonight, looking tidy :)

Ha not far off actually but yes it could be anywhere. I live in Oxfordshire at the moment but I move around a lot.

It's very likely it was modified then because the 0-60 on a standard one is only 7.3 seconds, whereas the R26 is 6.5 from what I'm reading. Many of them have turbos now.

I love these cars, proper little sleepers. Blown away a few cocks in Audis/BMWs with it :wiggle:

They are some random photos :eek3:

I keep forgetting about OT, I don't think I've been on here for almost a year.

Still have this car, just as much fun as it always was :)

No way. This is one of the last NA hot hatches there will ever be. To put a turbo on it would ruin it.

Interesting. I believe the 172 Cup was only sold in the UK and the normal 172 in the rest of Europe. Either way someone has shipped one of them over to the US which is cool.
