It was an open window...you can imagine. My new PowerBook G4 sat in a puddle over night. It was extremely traumatic. The computer did not work at first. After drying out for two days it works fine. Amazing.

the best thing to do is not try to turn it on when you know it is wet or been wet. leave it off for at least 2 days then attempt to turn it on. thats how I messed up my phone...:wtc:

my gf's roomie spilled about a litre of hot tea into my pbook as i was using it one day...

after a weekend of drying, it powered right back on. the only thing I had to do, was change the date, it had gone back to the 1950's for some reason.

just fine to this day, many months later :)
