It's going to get stolen no matter what you buy.

Why don't you just talk to your guys at the audio department?

best guy gear is pretty :hsugh: my friend used to work there, for speakers he got alpine type-r comps and RF amp

wasnt the greatest but for BB stuff i guess it was ok :dunno:

    alpine decks are decent

If you drop us a budget and the make/model of the car we'd have alot more room to work with. The fact that you're buying from BB (not a good value) kinda kills my enthusiasm.

Value as in 'bang for your buck'.

LOC, amp, sub, and call it a day. That's what we did on my friend's 06 Accord.

if he's looking to spend 500-700 he could do a headunit too. Then there's no hassle w/ the LOC.

its a line output converter....pretty much it lets you hook up and amp to a factory head unit. It takes the signal from the two rear speaker wires and converts them into a RCA plug so you can run them to an amp.

Alpine decks are decent? I'll admit their 06/07 lineup is a step back from their older stuff, but unless you're talking about Nakamichi or a CarPC, I don't know who makes a better headunit.

what do you want me to say?

alpine takes lesser head units and spits in their face and kicls them in the shins?

See here for the headunit: http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=3165956

I worked at Circuit City back in the day, so I know some of that stuff can be *really* cheap after the discounts. If that's the case, I would say for the sub, the Alpine Type R you picked would be fine (just make sure you put it in a ported box). The Rockford one here would be fine too. Amp it with the Rockford Fosgate here or you could get a Kicker ZX750.1 mono amp (750w @ 2ohms) for less than 250 shipped on eBay. Don't take my word for it, but I've heard the Type-R subs can take up to 1000 watts RMS just fine.

For the 6.5s and 6x9s, I would amp them with the Rockford Fosgate 4 channel here. The Alpine here is a good amp, but it may be underpowering your speakers a bit. If you're willing to look outside of Best Buy there may better options, but they will also be more expensive.

i wouldn't get the junk-ass infiniti speakers. if you have type-r available, go with that. the tweeters scream and they have better than average midbass. you'll be dissapointed with the inshititi. and the RF amps are prolly gonna be your best bet from best buy.
