my piercing fell out today. it's the third time it has, except this time I lost the barbell:wtc:. could it be bad jewelry? I'm going to go to the piercer tomorrow (they were closed today) and get them to repierce it for me. they should do this for free right? i mean this can't be normal. does anyone know how much longer my healing time will be. the piercing will be out for about 15 hrs total.

fuck i'm pissed. I love this piercing (PA). i feel naked.

Have you been checking to make sure your beads are tight? Loosening is commonly caused from everyday movements. You should be checking it in the mornings and before bed.

yea i was checking and the damn thing still fell out. the piercer never told me to do that, but after it fell out the first time, i started checking frequently.

thing is i love the added sensation it gives me and i love how it looks too. fuck. i'm most pissed that the piercer didnt say anything and that they were assholes about it on the phone when I said it came out. I'd be willing to pay for the jewelry but it seems ridiculous for me to pay another 115 bucks when it wasnt done right/i wasn't informed properly the first time.

maybe you should go with a segment ring, it's not very likely to fall out. What gauge is your piercing and how old is it? those factors will help determine how soon the hole closes up to the point where it need to be repierced.

what is a segmented ring? it was 10 gauge pierced 2 1/2-3 weeks ago

edit: i googled for the ring...i'd like that except i really like the balls on my circular barbell.

yeah, well look at it this way... for about a month maybe two as it heals, peeing will be easier and the ring won't fall out,

Some Peoples and Mappins are producing navel barbells and nostril jewellery. They're not very good quality but people will buy them because they're "real gold".
