    is it even possible to do macro shots with a Sony P10 5.1 MP???
    i really enjoy macro shots, but i can never seen to get it to focus correctly.

    For your purposes, 'macro' mode is where you can reduce the 'minimum focusing range' of the camera. On your camera, there might be a button or mode with the picture of a flower. This will get the camera to focus down to its minimum.

    ya, i know about the flower/macro mode, but i have tried taking macro shots, and they dont turn out at all..

    idk if i am even taking them the way i should be.. heres an example

    ^^ on the rock one it just looks like you were a tad too close. there is a minimum range in which it can focus even in macro mode.

    cool pictures though, i really like your europe shots

    allright, i have another week til i go back to school, so i will read up on macro (digital style :hsugh: ) and see if ican post some improved pics

    Where in Europe were those photos taken? Europe is a tad vague :p

    1- Swiss Alps
    2- Swiss Alps
    3- abandonded building across from the Berlin Wall
    4- Berline Wall (now painted by artists from all around the world)
    5- Church/school in Italy. just to the left and down the tunnel was our hotel
    6- Highest dam in Switzerland. water was beautiful
    7- Swiss Alps
    8- Swiss Alps
    9- Damn Dam :mamoru:
    10- Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen NY. a couple days ago. its the break wall
    11- Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen NY. a couple days ago. a building on the pier

    12- the shitty attempt at macro was on a "beach" in Italy, overlooking Lago Macciore

    you dont have to get super close to get a macro shot. try backing away a little.

    looking good, Europe is very picturesque, we (wife and I) just got back from Paris, and have a bunch of great shots too...
