  1. so yeah when its runnign alot of shit, the comp just flat shuts off. doesnt freeze or reboot, goes off

    any ideas guys/

sometimes when i restart it, it says something about hitting f2 to restart default values... before it goes to windows.. i dunno

i have a feeling it might be a driver problem with my mobo.. but im not sure..

....... i think i have the right mobo driver as i dont have the original, and i got mine offline but the p4p800 model has so many different kinds.

my comp is like 2 years old, so i know it aint the issue of it being a garbage comp or outdated... HELP :x:

    could be heat as well..

  3. i dont think its really heat... its not too hot at all .. i guess i could be wrong

    oh yeah..

SOMETIMES.. after it turns off and i reboot, it says failed to overclock or overclocking failure, press f1 to enter setup , f2 to restore defaults...

Sounds like either your processor is failing, your mb is failing or it's overheating. Considering it's summertime now heat is a bigger issue, my home computer overheats unless I keep a fan on it.

Try opening the side of the case and letting a fan blow inside it while running it, see if it still shuts off on ya.

sounds like the processor is overheating to me....if it happens only when you have a lot of stuff going on (processor intensive), it wouldn't be a driver issue.

Probably heat. Check if all your fans are working.
