Hah, that's awesome man. Videos like that are fun, plus it helps alot to watch yourself on tape. My friend shot a muay thai traning montage of me for a film project, but it's on film and he hasn't transfered it to digital yet. Just out of curiousity, how tall are you?

yeah I totally agree with you, I definitely like picking apart my game (and my opponent's) by watching the tapes over and over. And I am about 5'7"

Damn...I really need to develop a tight game like yours. My game is all speed and not much else, which is bad because I tend to get sloppy. Any tips? I just can't and don't want to kick my wrestling instinct which tends to overtake my jiu jitsu game. Honestly, when I roll I just completely blank out and run on instinct and muscle memory. I have no real thought process. Kids always ask how I did something and I never remember haha. Whenever I try to slow down and be methodical nothing works for me, which is awful because at this rate I'll have such a big hole in my game that I'll never go beyond tapping out white and blue belts.

My instructor told me a long time ago that my problem was that I wasn't doing bjj, I was wrestling with submissions. So I started watching/taping people roll with each other that had a lot more experience than me and saw how they made positions I sucked at (half guard, top game, etc) successful for them and then practiced their sweeps/setups. I dunno, I guess the thing is that if you feel like your plateuing, start trying out new things.

I try to compete as often as I can. Its a fucking struggle at my university club though. People just don't show up, and not often enough. Only ONE member other than the instructor trains as often as I do and he out weighs me by 60-70 lbs. Meaning my entire game is based on rolling with mainly him thousands of times. I can not WAIT until I get out of this shit hole and train every day at a real academy.
