    First off, my own comments...

    Nov 2004, 5'9", 160 lbs
    Jul 2005, 5'9", 180 lbs
    Nov 2005, 5'9", 180 lbs

As you'll notice, I spent 4 months accomplishing almost nothing. Something else took priority (finding a job), so I mostly ate at maintenance and skipped workouts from time to time to do on-site interviews.

    Current maxes are roughly:

    Bench - 245 lbs (guessing)
Deadlift - 405 lbs (did this a month ago, so it could be higher)
    Squat - 355 lbs (guessing)

All pic series are Nov '04, July '05, and then Nov '05. As I mentioned, the different over the last 4 months isn't much.

    Front relaxed:

    Back double-bi:

I didn't do a front double-bi last Nov, so here's July '05 vs Nov '05. It looks like I did not spread my lats correctly in the 2nd pic below:

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give myself a 6.5. I'm bigger, but I'd prob be ~190 lbs now if I did it right.

On the plus side, I did get a job :bigthumb: and start in 2 weeks.

    My goals:

    Hit 200 lbs by 8/30/06.

Cut a reasonable amount (5 lbs?) by 12/31/06.

Continue cutting 1 lb a month until I like how I look, and then maintain.

    See you next year.

You'll also notice my tan fading over time.

Here's my attempt at a back pose:

Looks weird. I'm probably doing it wrong. Or maybe I just need more lats to show :bateman:

just a comment. its cool you got a job and stuff but i dont understand people making one thing a priority in their life. Like were you literally spending 16 hours a day actively seeking a job?? No hate or anything but I hear this stuff from people taking finals and all kinds of stuff. Workouts take an hour if you cant do that 2-3 times a week some time management is in order. Good progress though.

dont know what his situation is personally, but for me its all or nothing. with school, and part time work its too easy to get distracted and not accomplish anything. i like to concentrate on say bulking or whatever, and not have to worry about going to work after school. but then again, to a certain degree, that just an excuse for shitty progress (for me).

    over there, no here

this is a good point, and likes ceaze just posted from pendlay, youre right, making the time to 'work out' is relatively easy. (i get mad at ppl who makes excuses, including myself)
most fit americans shouldnt have a problem with that. the problem lies with dedicating the same time, every day, under same stress levels, etc to achieve the 'goals' most on this forum preach about. that gets hard when lifes other priorites dictate where the stress shall lie. lol

  18. Workouts take atleast 3 hours for me

1 hour to wait for pre-shake to digest

    1.5-2 hours to actually workout

and 15-30 mins afterwards to shower up and such

Waiting for your pre-shake to digest shouldn't consist of part of the workout time, unless youre internets lifting

i hear ya. my situation was a little different than normal. i was only looking for jobs far away, so they'd fly me out for 3-5 days once or twice a month. i also made the conscious decision to enjoy myself a little and visit friends too, since this will be the last time i have this much free time. i ended up with about 10 roundtrip flights to various places over those 4 months.

i still went to the gym when i could, but i ended up skipping more than half my workouts because i had no gym to go to when i was traveling. no offense taken of course, and thanks for the comments

    nice progress.

when im busy, i still fit time in to workout, but i'm not always able to eat all that properly. lifting + inadequate diet = zero to minimal progress. so to all those that say you should be able to fit 1-2hrs a day for the gym even when you're busy ...you could still be missing the diet part

Sorry Im not a brolly or anything. But am I missing something here? You were ripped, then turned into a fat ass, then lost the fat, but still alot fatter than last year?

I think you look alot better at 160, but my opinion obviously means nothing.
