I'm curious to hear how you guys organize yours. I have a ton and once I buy one, or even download a free one, I really don't want to delete it from iTunes. I've started just check boxing the ones that I want on the phone.

Do you actually delete apps, even the ones you've paid for if you don't use them anymore? Or just not sync them to the phone?

once you delete them from the phone, that app won't sync again.

i delete mine from my iPhone and MBP (itunes) as well. if you get too many you can install 5 column springboard or 5 row springboard from cydia (given you are jailbroken).

I've downloaded at least 200 apps, only to use/play the vast majority of them once or twice. Rolando, Bix, Fieldrunners, Zombieville and iShoot are the only games that were actually worth buying IMO. Also, Hero of Sparta sucks asscunts.

FYI, if you buy an app and delete it, as long as you use the same account, you can download it for free from iTunes after that.

If you are jailbroken download categories from cydia. It allows you to create a folder and put whatever apps you want in there.

if you download categories, poof, or any other app hiding programs, BE SURE to unhide or uncategorize them before you do a restore. if you have hidden apps and restore, they will be very hard to get back (it is possible but it is annoying as fuck). so yes it is a very useful program, but be sure to be careful in using it.

That would be great...I can't stand having to move one wiggly icon at a time.

Yea I also had this problem when I upgraded firmware. It was a bit of a pain but none the less a simple process.

Can you tell iTunes to download all purchased apps? If so, how?
