I just bought a Nissan Patrol for $1500

MQ model (3.3L turbo diesel manual)
    short wheelbase
    safari snorkel
    2" lift kit
    roobar
    soft top (unzips)
    pioneer cd player
    pioneer splits
    alpine amp
12" 450wrms mtx sub facing through the front seats

it's my first 4wd and I haven't been offroad much yet but this thing
can get over some pretty crazy sand dunes.. I've already painted
some of the grey bits yellow with aerosol cans that match the original
paint code, then sanded it back with 2000 wet and dry and polished it
and they look fine :bigthumb: just gotta do the other bits now

front diff is leaking.. tried to fix it by taking the coverplate off, cleaning
both surfaces with a razor blade and putting a nice bead of ultra-blue
gasketmaker (high temp, sensor safe) on but it still leaks so I think I have
to get a genuine nissan gasket..

I just keep topping it up for now though :o

    Sweet rig.

Either take those running boards off or you'll have them ripped off. Plus they're ugly. :) IFS or solid axle up front?
