I got mine two days ago. Indoor shots aren't the best with the 18-135mm kit lens, but i don't really know how to use the camera the best yet. a canon AE-1 is a helluva lot different than the nikon D80

what problems are you having with indoor shots?

indoor shots with anything other than a 1.8 will always benefit from the use of the flash.

I've had mine for a while now, so let me know if there are any specific questions I can answer for you.

Sir William - honest opinion: I agree with most of what you're saying, as a fellow d80 owner. But your writing is a bit rough, and you make some terrible sweeping generalizations.

I have a D80, I prefer a little bit more the D200 for the matrix meterix.. I use spot oon my D80 or else I had way too much playing with compensation to do. I prefered also more thew out of the box colors of the D200 but once adjusted (camera settings) the D80 has great color too.

Ergo side, I prefer the smaller size of the D80, but the wheel dial of the D200 and the zoom function kills the D80 and seriously every time I take the D200 I so which the D80 would have the same zoom feature and the 8 way joystick...
