i'm guessing that for $40 that's semi, though, it looks to be threaded for a suppressor.

I am not sure how many rounds per sec it shoots...the magazine holds 32 rounds. And something is wrong with the trigger and cyclic rate because with a simple manipulation of the trigger I can get it to fire fully auto.

It is threaded on the end of the barrel which is meant for either a supressor or a barrel extension.

hmm, something "wrong" with it, eh?

and, it's not a "weapon" as your topic title states. it's a firearm. an object's weapon status depends on its use. until you use it to inflict bodily injury, it is still just a firearm. don't let anyone tell you otherwise. after all, you could use that thing as a paperweight or something.

God help me... but what is it exactly? I'd like to get to a point where I can recognize and identify firearms by sight.

i'd guess a tec-9, but the only other pic i've seen offhand of one is crimescene and evidence photos from Columbine massacre a few years ago :/

Obviously, I'm not that far along yet.

Those are fun. Looking at it though, it appears that it *should* be a semi-auto. I would highly recommend taking it to your local neighborhood gunsmith and have them check it out, otherwise you could be SOL if something bad happens due to the problem you described.

From your description I would say that the sear is a little out of whack. Of course, I am not a gunsmith so do not take that for rote.

Oh I know exactly what is wrong with it...I was a weapons instructor in the Marine Corps and have had plenty of experience with assault stype weapons.

    Basically a tec9 is crap....but I couldnt pass up a deal like that. $40 for a tec9....

Tec-9s are POS. My friend has had two of them and both were great fun until they jammed - which was like 5 times in a 32 Rd Magazine :big grin:

don't break down too much ATP into ADP when you fire it, because converting ADP into ATP requires energy :fawk:

What a useless "weapon". Novelty - yes. POS - yes. Spray and Pray - yes.
