So basically, I went to Top Notch in Elgin. Owner there is Cleen Rock, who is very cool to talk too. He is also into Classics and is a president of some car club. It was nice to see some pics of old cars, particularly old Fords :fawk:

Anyways, the artist that did this was Jeff fdsareavdsafdsfsd. Took him 2 and a half hours. Within 20 minutes, I started to feel a little dizzy which was weird so we had to take a 10 minute break. Overall, we took about 3 breaks total because... holy shit... tattooing the bottom of your shoulderblades and like "under" it hurts like you cant describe it :o. The other parts didnt hurt at all, but the 2nd painful area was at the top of my shoulder blades, but it cant even compare to the bottom and under it.

    total was like 360 - 40 deposit + 60 tip

To give you an idea, I have a small tribal cross with little wings behind it on my spine, just low enough that I can cover it with a dago tee. This angel is done on my left shoulder blade. Her face is staring at the cross. And this one is still close enough to my back that I can still hide it with a dago tee...barely. I forgot to tell my artist about it but im glad it still turned out that way. I just need a grim reaper on the right side and I am done with tattoos... or at least done with tattoos on my back :big grin:

He also told me that he wants me to come back to take pictures of it for his portfolio, which I thought was kinda cool to do

I just found out that one of my coworkers is friends with the people at the shop. He said he will try to get me a cheaper price for my grim reaper. And if the price is low enough, I will probably do it soon :x:

I think I got a rash/irritation from using Aquaphor (a lotion that my artist recommended me to use). Its not too bad, i started to realize it two days after that tat. And stopped using it.

Just a heads up :big grin:

wife beater, tanktop, muscle tees, etc... I guess it all depends on where you are from.
