My new Yamaha FZ1

    Bought it on 10/16, put my 600 miles on it by Sunday, it's in for it's first service today. Absolutely incredible! I can't believe how smooth it is. I got this one over the R1 because you sit higher and straighter, feels a lot better on my back (and it only produces like 7 hp less than the R1). Too bad the weather's starting to get bad over here.

    Thats a very sexy bike!! Yamaha produces excellent bikes I cant wait to see the 2003 line!!!And silver is the way to go right on!!!

    Update on my bike: got it up to 160 mph the other day, was quite a rush. 160 @ 10,000 rpm. It was still pulling, so it will probably do 170 @ probably 11,000 or so (redline is 11,500), but I don't know if I want to try that again.

    $9,900 - included taxes, registration, extended warrenty, 1st service, new gloves and a new jacket.

    i have had a speed triple now for four seasons and that is the first bike to come down the pike since, that i like, AND all you got to do is add clipons and you got an instant track bike.
