I see this forum is mostly overwhelmed by SLR crew which I am a part of also but aside from that I create wallpapers.

I need an opinion on my site, well actually my work thats on the site. The site for now is using some default WP theme, I am working ona a new one but no its not ready yet, but thats not important, what is important is the wallpapers I made on the site, your comments and critique is welcomed

    My sites address is http://gangsterserver.com

Some of my work was also featured on customize.org on the front page as the Featured Artist
Also on few other sites, so I figured I post it here

i'm currently using Joomla, but I like word presses setup (the way you have it) and gallery type integration that you can add to it. At the same time though, I like how Joomla is a full content management system and can do a lot also. Perhaps I just need to play with some more skins.

It just seems like there is almost too much going on over at my site. Much like it is too cluttered.

It almost seems more complicated, but I just think that's because there are a lot of options being a pretty powerful CMS. It may be more than I need. It takes a bit of getting used to that's for sure.

Theme support seems pretty good. Lots of free templates online to chose from. Easy to modify. As far as choice CMS's go, it depends on the content I guess. This is supposed to be one of the best though.

Also, have you heard of drupal for cms? I once heard on TWIT.TV (leo laportes netcast) how its one of the best CMS's but very very difficult.

I have heard of Drupal, but have never played with it. Let me know if you do. Also with all of this skinning talk, I found a new one for my site. Working on modding it now. What do you think so far?

I have to reload my images to fit the template though. :(

EDIT: I'm done for the night. I need to lighten up my banner image tomorrow, size down the font in the gallery and reload my images.

Is the gallery built in to Joomla or is that an add-on module?

I have several sites that are designed for forum use so I'm running php-nuke on those, but my personal site is running phpwebsite because it had a built in photo gallery. I didn't like wordpress since it doesn't have a photo gallery, it just has modules for integrating Gallery2 and Coppermine ... didn't really like they way the looked inside the WP themes.

I had looked at Joomla but didn't realize it had a gallery so I skipped it. I know any site can have a photo gallery added using some add-on software, but I want an integrated look like you have on your site

The gallery that i'm using is called ZOOM Media Gallery.
Here is a link. Pretty simple to set up and configure. No resizing of images necessary. If you ohave imagemagik or netpbm, it does all of the work for you when you upload. Really nice.
