So I finally took the plunge after all this time getting my website done. Anyway, I hired it out and I couldn't be happier. It's still in the works but you'll get an idea of what it's going to look like. Feel free to provide constructive criticism.

u might want to add a link to next/previous picture on the pictures in the gallery, so the user doesn't have to close the pic and open a new one every time to see a new pic

Add your "About us" to the home page. Something needs to grab the viewers attention immediately. When it was first opened, all I saw was red, white and blue (which is nice) but I was looking for "more" substance.

I'd make removing tar an extra cost option since it is more involved than a typical wash.

You also might want to add a picture to the home page.

    1. Nice logo.
    2. The format is consistant and tight.
    3. You have no before/after exterior shots. You're not documenting the improvement you can offer your customers.
    4. Some of your interior shots are before/after...others are just before or after.
    5. Your interior shots appear to all be from one minivan job. Show before/afters of consoles, cup holders, dashes, dirty upholstery, dirty leather, etc.
    6. Your scrotum is showing in a few pictures.
    7. Your phone number should be on every page. Customers often give up trying to find your number and just leave your site.
    8. Be sure to optimize your site for search engines in local cities and strongly consider paying for Google Ad Words.

Can you get an [email protected]* email address? It appears more professional than an [email protected]*

Not really a suggestion, just curious, why did you make the navigation bar 1 image with an image map? Why not break each image up into a different table cell? That could open up to roll-over images?

Is anything going into the blue bar/box at the bottom? It seems kind of bare with nothing in it?

You might want to take a look at how my gallery is set up, you can even do a slideshow with it.

Now if I can only get my brother to add all the pictures I've sent him and update the rest of the site....

A lot of the suggestions that have been made have been submitted to my web house. As for the gallery, I kinda like it how it is. It's unique in the fact that I've never seen something like it before. I have a guy, actually from OT, taking care of the site and I think for the 3 days he's been working on it, he's gotten quite a bit done. I'm still trying to sort through hundreds of pictures to give him. Some of the ones I used to have are on a computer that took a crap on me which sucks.

    Its a great website.

Its not too complicated, and therefore will be compatible with most browsers.

You would hate to lose a client, because they didn't have Flash installed and your "cool" website didn't work.

    Again, great website!

On the image page, I would like to see a "Before" and "After" shot of all your work.

That will really make people come out to you!

I wish I had em. On some of the cars it was really just giving the paint that extra something. there are a few. I also had my other computer take a crap on me that had a lot of pictures on it which is why my interior pics are few and far between.

Love the new home page now, simple but effective. I like the slideshow too. My brother keeps saying he will do that with my home page but apparently his family and business come first. :sad2:

Thanks Scott, I thought the same thing. My buddy was gonna do my site for a bit cheaper but he was going to do it for a deal but he does site professionally and was going to do it as he found time. I was getting impatient considering he's had the info and pictures for 6 weeks and nothing came of it so I basically took things into my own hands and found someone on here to do it and I'm really happy with the result.

In your gallery, you should have a next button, so i don't have to close and then click on another picture.
