    Fear it.. [IMG]

Basic stock ruger 10-22 with a few cosmetic upgrades.. and a 20" stainless bull barrel. Ordering the full volquartsen trigger frame with the extended mag release, bolt lock, etc. I already ordered a weaponkraft buffer for it.

    Amazingly fun to shoot.

How accurate are those? What kind of range can you get at that accuracy?

Since it's blue, will it "camo" into mud splattered on the truck lid of your Subie?

check out rimfire central.. they seem to be pretty accurate at 50 yards, holding sub 1" groups.

It's perfect for offroad excursions in springfield.

I was torn between buying and building this, or picking up a complete mega ar15 lower.. The lower was half the cost but I'd still only have half a rifle.

I'm thinking about getting a Tactical Solutions threaded barrel and going through the porcess of getting a suppressor for my mkIII  It's just hard to let go of that much money on a .22 pistol:rofl:

I hear ya. I'm already $450.00 into this. I'm hoping to make 50 back by selling the stock ss barrel and synthetic stock though. But then the volquartsen full trigger setup is about $220.00 :hs:. I plan on adding a can to my p22 one of these days.

There are quite a few. I plan on building a "beater" all black hogue rubberized stock. This one is too pretty to get beat to hell.

10/22s rule! I put about 400 rounds through mine this weekend. Just a stock stainless carbine with a volq hammer and a 3-9x40. It works so nicely, I can't bring myself to mod it any more. I need to pick up a shitty one at a pawn shop so I can have a receiver to build another one on

I've got pretty much all the internals swapped with Volquartsen parts on mine, chopped the barrel clamp groove off the end of the stock and stained it green:big grin: I think I'll give it to my dad and start from scratch on my next one. Force reciever:wackit:

Any complaints about the volquartsen stuff? I've been seeing a few on rimfire central. But for the price I don't think you can beat it.

No complaints here. Pretty much everything inside mine is Volquartsen. I do recall the instructions for putting the trigger group together were pretty weak, but that was years ago.

Another great investment would be one of those synthetic recoil buffers. Huge difference when firing it, way quieter, smoother.
