Alright guys, I've made the purchase. Let me know what you guys think, if you know anything about the hardware i'm mentioning.

    Projector- Sony VPL-HS20
Screen- 106" Da-Lite High Contrast Cinema Vision
Frame- Da-Lite Cinema Contour(with black velvet finish)

For now, the speakers will be a 7.1 channel Cerwin Vega surround sound system. That may change to B&W though.

And that does it. Should be set up in a month or so. I'll post pictures when it's up.

    Sounds awesome! (although I don't know about the screen/frame ;) )

I'm curious if anyone who's reading this thread could give a position on focal speakers vs. the B&W speakers. :x:

Focal's home speakers are sold under the JMlabs brand. Both B&W and JMlabs perform well. Its personal preference as to which you would like the sound of best.

I'm planning on a bigscreen for mine --- I can't use a projector as I've got beams in that room and getting under the beams would be to low

There is no 7.1, however a single center rear channel is generally a bad idea for numerous reasons. So, the optimal setup is to split the rear channel into surround-back left and surround-back right, hence 7.1. So, you have 7 speakers and a sub, playing six discrete channels (or 5 with a matrixed rear signal).
