Vitamin C has been shown in studies to have a positive relationship to recovery, and immunity. Considering that training puts stress on the immune system, and CNS, it is logical that it is a good supplement to take. I have the chewable ones b/c they are tasty. Anyway the research I have done has siad that megadoses are good for a short period but should be dropped back down after about 5-7 days. I usually take 1.5 grams a day on average. A megadose would be like 5-6 grams.

As far as most other vitamins and micronutrients go, there is a limit to how much your body will ingest, so why mega dose? Everytime I take too much of my vitamins I just get glow in the dark piss.
