THe monitor is great as a small multimedia solution but not so great as a gaming monitor, considering it has a max resolution of 1280x768 and a 25rms. But in the end I chose it over the 2405fpw simply because it did more overall. This thing is chalk full of functions and crap I will never figure out.

Anyone know where to get a Slot loading dvd drive?

I have having a hell of at time finding one. I've seen several OTers with them but forgot whom.

I think Pioneer makes one, 106s or something. Newegg don't sell it =(

Pioneer has one I don't recall the model, I have one or had one somewhere around the house. My only question is you spend all this $$ on this stuff but you don't get a nice beefy power supply. (PC Power and Cooling) Otherwise great looking system.

the PSU is 658w with 44amps on the 12v rail!

    How is that not beefy!

Cooling I'm working on. All oem components right now. CPU runs 36C mobo runs around 34c and GPu runs around 50c. You're right on cooling though, needs work. But I have no experience with it so I jsut wanted to get it running first and start from there.

I forgot to update that list. I actually bought the 36gb I retail.

However the difference between the retail and OEM is a friggin sata cable. That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And maybe an instructure/poster that's pretty much useless since it basically says if you are an idiot, you can install this.

I don't even use the cable since my mobo came with a million and one of them. Shoulda bought OEM anyway. DOPE
