Awesome man, congrats! Mind telling what options you got and how much out the door?

Edit: And how much was the tax on it :noes:

The tax was like 2100 or 2300$ I'll have to look at the receipt again when I get home.

OTD price was 31,270.00...woulda been under 30K but I am having them install a suspension kit from FRPP and roll it into the price. It's in the shop now getting the kit installed.

I saved about 2K buying w/ Ford X-plan through work.

    Specs:

    4.6L, 3V V8 w/ VVT (300hp 320 Tq)
    5-spd manual
    Black leather int
    500w sound system
    18" wheels
    active anti-theft
    guidepoint security/tracking
    spoiler delete

I've got sequential taillights and a panel for the rear decklid to install when I finally get it home...hopefully later today.

Sweet, thanks. I ordered mine from over here but I'm gonna need to pay taxes when I get over there, just wondering how much it was going to hurt me :(

I'd really like to check out that FR suspension, let me know how you like it. What do ya have lined up next for it?

I'm thinking about a programmer and a CAI...but I dunno about the programmer because all the tunes bump the car up to 93 octane...not sure if I wanna switch to that yet.

No serious engine mods until the warranty runs out. (3yr/36k)

EDIT: The FRPP Kit was 1600$ installed including a 4-wheel alignment. I'll let you know how it drives.

Edit edit: What color did you get and what options? It took me 2 months to the DAY from order to delivery.

I've been surfing 05/06 forums for a few weeks now, I've seen a TON of good stuff from this site. Seems to be a really cool guy and he'll do 3 custom tunes, and will do 89 octane if you want. I found a site with comparisons between all the aftermarket intakes and the JL2 came out on top... I'll try to find that link tonight. Simple shit like that won't void your warranty though :hs:

How much around the Phoenix area? :noes:

I ordered Black, premium, spoiler delete, 5 speed, interior upgrade, shaker 1000, alarm, and charcoal dash. Working with the dealership to hopefully trade in the plain painted rims for black bullitts. The order went to the factory this week... I get back to Indiana around june, should be driving from Chicago to Phoenix in early July.

I got the interior upgrade too, forgot to mention that. The interior looks kinda :greddy: without it.

I've been on The Mustang Source forums as "06GT" for about 5 months now, it's a great resource.

Yeah CAI and a tune won't void warranties. By "serious" mods I mean Saleen Supercharger :bigthumb:

Yeah it looks bland as fuck without it... I couldn't take the aluminium dash though, hopefully the charcoal will look better... guess I'll have to wait to see it.

Supercharger is a little too much for my wallet right now... but with rumors of the boss having a N/A 5.4 and of course the 500 having a blown version... maybe down the line I'll be able to pick up a used motor and swap in something with a few extra cubes :hsughw:

The charcoal panel has a carbon fiber pattern to it. It's not bad, but with a black interior it was just too dark. Needed the aluminum panel to brighten it up

Fuck, I hate carbon-fiber type shit :wtc:

I'm probably going to re-do the interior in a couple years anyways... they're finally going to make colors other than red in 07... I want to get the blue interior and heated seats :eek5:

    Very nice.
I love the look of it with those wheels and without the spoiler.

    Excellent color choice also.

The car is a LOT more responsive over stock w/ the handling package...most of the 150 miles was on the Apache Trail from the 60 to Canyon Lake
