I've not fired it yet, but looking forward to it. :)

On a side note I'm about to have to switch my driver's license and state of res so it looks like I'll be having to go through the CCW process all over again to be able to carry. :(

  2. Congrats. Get out and shoot it! :)

I've got a DPMS rifle. I loves it. Going to go shoot it today, actually.

For plinking, I use either Remington UMC or Winchester. Both FMJ.

    what about long range ammo?

  9. Get out your wallet, or invest in a reloading setup. People seem to like the Prvi Match stuff, but from my limited experience with it, "match" is being applied loosely to this ammo. Real, accurate long range ammo is going to be along the lines of the Black Hills 69 and 77gr SMK loads, or Federal Gold Metal Match. For real accuracy pursuits up to ~300 yards you can get away with lighter projectiles with no loss in accuracy, but for real long range stuff you'll want the long (heavier) bullets.
