Just bought a Dell Dimension E510 Series with dual core processing, I used a bunch of coupons and got it down to like $600 with a 19inch flat screen. What have you guys heard about Pentium® D Processor 820 with Dual Core Technology???

The Smithfield core on the Pentium D 820 performs great, and I've read nothing but good reviews on it.

Thought about getting a Pentium D, but I decided to wait till the Intel Conroe E6700 comes out.

I have an 820D in my work box. It's a very fast system. I can't wait for Conroe, that's going to blow AMD out of the water.

AnandTech did a review and some benchmark tests with the Conroe E6700 vs. the AMD FX-60. The Conroe this early, beat the FX-60. Doesn't even come out till Q3. Mmmm....can't wait for the Extreme Edition line up.

    it depends on the rails

watts mean next to nothing when determining if a video card will have enough power or not
