Started this one yesterday afternoon at American Graffitti in Daville, Virginia. This is my first tatt with color in it, which will be added in about 2 weeks. This is my fourth one and the most painful one of them all....i nearly passed out twice. Well here's what we got so far.

Very cool. My only suggestion is to have them even out the bass clef.

    thanks 667 i cant either

and JumboJym69: There was some crazy pain going on. The skin right there beside the ankle and heel was a fuckin bitch along with it hitting the shin and actual heel. I downed two cans of vault and pulled through.

It looks like the two lines that form the outline converge too much up top. but it might just be the picture, or the fact that they are small. Either way, killer tattoo.

I think its the picture because the clef and all other music notes were done with a stencil.

and yeah Blown: The achilles is what got me.

were the notes and the flames done by the same artist?

    :ugh:

people have differing pain tolerances, some people hurt in certain spots more than others etc.

is there any reason why he did a completely different line quality? Hopefully it will all pull together in the end, keep us updated :bigthumb:

well I dont think that the notes could be fattened up that much due to the fact that they are so thin, it would be hard around some of the curves. We are adding color to the flames of course and then the music notes will have black colored in the middle and will fade into a red and slight yellow towards the bottom (as though they are heated up) and then at the top they will fade into a dark red i beleive.
