my new lifting workout routine thingy

    so i usually do three sets of 10 reps, blah blah blah, then a friend read about this way to mix it up and i've tried it and it works pretty kick ass, it's a "wave" type of thing (i suck at the describing, sorry)

    start doing 6 reps with a weight, then add 10 pounds and do 3 reps, then take off the 10 and add only 5 and do 6 reps, then add the 10 back with the 5 and do 3, then do 10 reps with less than original weight.

    for example, on the bench - (note - i only give the poundage for one side of the bar, so 45 pounds means a 45 pound plate on each side of the bar)

    6 reps with 45 pounds

    3 reps with 45 pounds and a 10 pound

    6 reps with 45 pounds and a 5 pound

    3 reps with 45, 10, and 5 pounds

    10 reps with less than 45 (maybe 35, maybe 40, depending).

    i've found, using this, i'm able to increase weight quicker, and i am benching more than i have ever benched before. this works with just about any exercise...

    has anyone else tried this?

    the only thing "similar" to that that i've done is a pyramid with lateral curls, take weight, do 10, pass to friend, they do 10, pass to you to do 9, them do 9, etc.

    u take 20 lbs no lifting for 30lb if guy, so divide 2 u dont sit, u get 10 but for guy it no 30, so 20 would be for guy if u werent a girl ?

    of course, this is completely useless if you aren't taking grow or surge.

    I started doing the wave and using growing powders for my workout today and doubled my squat. :eek5:
