300 rounds of Bulgarian slivertip for $60 and $779 for the rifle. My only complaint is the furniture color does not match up, should I send it back to classic arms or just say fuck it?

The romy ak furniture rarely matches too, just refinish the wood if you want it to match.

I fucking hope so, I was told it was silvertip. Upon closer inspection I'm not so sure.

Upon further review, it looks like it's heavy ball. Fuck me, that sucks I was told that heavy ball and the PSL is a big no no.

Yup, that's lead heavy ball. Silver tip = steel core, light ball. no color = lead core, light ball. Yellow tip = Lead core, heavy ball.

edit: The above is for hungarian :o

I would just keep it, unless you are really short on money for different ammo. You could resell it in year for a profit or buy a mosin to shoot it out of.

True I do have a Mosin, but I've got over 200+ rounds for it. Not to mention shooting the Mosin fucking hurts after 60 or so rounds.

I wouldn't even use the word PSL and Sniper Rifle in the same sentence because it's not one, it makes me sick how crappy companies like CAI say it's a Romanian version of the SVD, it's not even close and is a horrible weapon with the accuracy of a Romanian WASR.

I don't have a PSL, have thought about getting one before, from what I've read alot of the horrible accuracy is due to people shooting the $40 per spam can stuff through it and expecting it to shoot tight groups, use cheap shit ammo and get shit groupings. But yeah other then looks it has nothing in common with the SVD, but neither are true sniper rifles.

The Russian 7N1 ammo will give you the best results if you can find some. Dragunov.net has a lot info on all the variants and whats the best ammo to use.
