My new Desktop

    Some of you recall my SK8N system that I built up -- well its a bit noisy for a desktop so I built this to be the main system, and now my SK8N is purely for testing.

    Thats pretty damn nice looking.. I've always like gkrellm. Wish somebody made a GOOD port of it to Windows....

    (i play too many games to run Linux on my desktop.. lol)

    3400+ is only 100mhz faster than my 2600+ ? dang

    yeah i see that its a 64, I just didn't know they were clocked differently

    im thinking about getting a 3000+ A64 once the prices come down a little bit more. can you really notice the speed even though its only rated at ~2ghz?

    I had a decent port of gkrellm that worked for windows. :dunno: I was using it to monitor a remote linux system though.

    my 2ghz opteron has destroyed my friends 3ghz P4 in every benchmark.

    the clock rate might be slower but holy shit these thing haul ass.
