    My second bike was a blue 1990 FJ1200. I loved it! :)

    Meh, that only depends on how you ride it... the bike was first introduced as a sport-bike. :)

    True dat... But most of the older sport-bikes when compared to the new ones pale in comparison. This is especially true when it comes to "flickability" of the bike.


    The fact that it is a big fast bike that is probably 100x more comfortable than any of todays sportbikes makes this a prime canidate for sport-touring.

    Kinda reminds me of the Porsche thread from yesterday. From a 928 ad... "Nothing as luxurious is as fast. Nothing as fast is as luxurious."

    Maybe not exactly, but you get my drift...

    True, it makes a killer sport touring bike... and while it isn't as capable as modern sport bikes, it isn't a slow bike and it was originally designed as a sport bike. :)

    ...and with 130 hp and A LOT of torque the bike certainly has balls.
