picking it up Saturday morning, and I cant fucking wait. Not a sport bike I know, but Ive always been a cruiser type... and theres just something really special about black and chrome.

I ll probably be doing a little airbrushing myself to the tank, but she's a beauty just like she is.

Ive been wanting another one since I sold my last one. And with gas prices being what they are, and my daily commute to work being mostly quiet parts of the highway, this is going to be my new commuter.

That will be a fun bike to scoot around on.

Ive always had a bit of a soft spot for the Virago's. Its the first bike i ever remember my dad owning, so ive been strangly drawn tot hem ever since.

Its an 84. paid a grand for it. Nice thing about yammy's as opposed to other cruisers and sport bikes is it is a shaft driven bike. I think vulcans are as well. its my second Virago as things go... first one i had to laydown when some idiot pulled out in font of me in Daytona... sand on the road does not equal a good stopping situation... It never road right after that, so I sold it, and started missing it immediately.
