Anyway, I've wanted this baby since 2006 when they came out. Amazing bike

It would be sex with a different headlamp and removal of the front mudguard.

    Sports bikes are better.

Standard sports bike, like the Bandit, ZRX, Versys, FZ1(150hp, upright seating), FZ6 etc
    Or a sports touring.
I have a ZRX, I can ride for ages on it with no pain. My helmet gives me pain before my seat does.

cool bike, i rode my friends before he sold it and it definately feels good, sounds good , i think he removed some exhaust baffles or somthing. he had some risers which made the bars perfect and not bent too far forward. He also beat many sport bikers who didn't exactly know that this was a power cruiser. Him and his bros triumph rocket 3 always had really close races too.

Define race, because a straight line isn't really much of a race.
Also, for the love of god, don't remove the baffles. I don't want to hear your annoyingly-fucking-loud motorcycle.

(despite your opinon straight line racing still happens to be very popular type of racing)

rollon's on the freeway...my guess is they thought they wouldn't need to downshift so much for a cruiser. 2nd unless uve heard this bike in person i wouldn't speak its definately not annoyingly loud. that engine is one of the best sounding vtwin powered cruisers that i have ever heard.

Now if you want annoyingly loud....well heres the setup i used to run on my bike but have sinced removed

it is probably the comfiest seat i've ever been on. short of being on a dresser with arm rests, it doesn't get any better

the big is huge, and it fits my 6'4 frame perfectly. pegs are far out and handle bars are at perfect length. i can't wait to ride it

It remains popular because it relies more on your pocketbook and the machine than it does on your skill. I know it takes a decent amount of skill to make a nice 1/4 mile pass, but compared to going to a track, the amount of skill required is nearly nothing.
Not to mention you could take a 700 dollar bike and still beat people on their R6's and R1's if you have the skill.
Try doing the same at a drag race.

I'm seriously jealous. I'm 6'4" too and currently ride a WR250R. Seat is about 6 inches wide. Granted its a different kind of fun though... wheelies, ripping through medians/over curbs etc.

there is a different type of rush/fun to a straight out run compared to twisties. they are both neat in their own way

i agree with him....simply different. Stop looking for something to argue about because you dont like a particular type of bike

I respect those who drag race and run the twisties or the track, but anytime I'm asked to race, guess what they mean? Drag race. Fuck you squid.
