I had a yellow Cav lower, but never did anything with it. It was the older model, so I upgraded to the new MkII version in OD green.

I found a cheap upper that had been given the homemade camo treatment (this was obviously removed); I wanted a pencil barrel to have a superlight carbine "truck gun" but this one had to do because of the price. It is a no name jobbie with HBAR under the handguards.

Anyway, here she is. Now, when I want to strap a rifle to a four-wheeler rack, or toss it in back of a Kawasaki Mule, I can go it with no regrest.

    Without further adieu...

Yeah, ain't too pretty on the eyes, but it's what I like to call "downsizing". Normally I'd carry the rifle below when hunting hogs. When carrying that rifle, I liked to be careful with it for some odd reason. Now, I can beat a hog with my rifle and not give a shit.

The lower, well, hard to judge. I'd say, $120. The upper w/ bolt (minus carrier) was $200. Carrier was $60.

So, essentially, there's about $380 there. Not bad if you ask me.

Not bad at all, I'm building a trunk gun and it's gonna be fairly similar to yours just wanted to know what other people are putting into their trunk guns.

I was shooting an Alpine hand-me-down from my dad. He dicided he liked it better than the mathews because of how light it is. I ended up with the almost brand new Mathews. Probably has around $1300 in it.

LOL. Had sticky stuff on it and I used acetone to remove it; kinda took a little plastic off, too. :noes:
