My muscles are sore...

    Two days ago I was lifting those little 7lb weights that look like this []==[] untill my arms were so tired to the point where I could not lift any more, and then I did that again the yesterday even though my arms were sore. Today they are really sore. Is that good or bad? I am completely new to excercise. Should I lift more weights again today? Thanks.

    always good to let the muscles rest before working them out again.....fyi.....they need time to grow.....repair time is prob more important than lifting.

    you need to use smaller weights and do more reps...you want to get toned right?

    What are reps? You mean like how many times you move your arm or something?
    Also sorry, but what does toned mean? Does it mean having muscle show?

    Just take the day off work and use a frozen can of juice or something and lift it all day.

    For you, it's probably best to not lift when you're sore. Don't just do curls. Do shoulder and chest presses as well. You also need to hit your legs. Start by doing bodyweight squats.

    Today you should grab the weight that looks like this []===D and lift until failure. Then you will be totally ripped and toned
