Your movie of the year is a movie that hasn't come out yet? Cool.
This one's easy.
The Dark Knight
the year isn't over yet
have you even seen it yet?
I'm usually right on the money with these things. If not I'll gladly eat my words...
my top list:
The Dark Knight
wtf @ Wanted and Cloverfield.
I loved Wanted and Cloverfield, but I like movies that are different than the normal studio boring.
Dark Knight, hands down
I was referring to THIS year, Cloverfield was released last year.
actually cloverfields release date is 1/18/08
The movies I saw in order best to worst:
WALL-E - 9
The Dark Knight - 8
Burn After Reading - 8
Choke - 8
Forgetting Sarah Marshall - 7
Iron Man - 7
Ghost Town - 6
Horton Hearts a Who! - 5
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - 5
Tropic Thunder - 4
Be Kind Rewind - 3
My Blueberry Nights - 3
man i watch dumb movies. i didnt even like the dark knight as much as everyone else. so many potentially better movies i need to see this year
Glad I'm not the only one who didn't like Tropic Thunder. But Wall-E > Dark Knight =
the dark knight was ridiculously overrated, which is hard to do because it IS a good movie. when everyone and their mother is riding its cock as a 5 star movie, though, its overrated. batman begins was better.
honestly i think i rated wall-e an 8 also on flixster, but i just really didnt want to put the dark knight on top.
and i swear to god if i see one more assclown dress up as the joker or imitate his laugh im taking another fucking star away.
I thought I saw it last December...hmmmmm
you could have seen it in limited release or something but heres the poster...
heh...I stand corrected.
hands down best movie of 2008
mfin anyone who denies this should
Beverly Hills Chihuahua a close second amirite?
thank god i did not see that POS
I haven't seen this yet, what makes it special?
It's not super special, it's just a standard Pixar movie, which is almost always solidly entertaining.
also i think those two are girls which means chances are pixar movies are catnip to them.
