    Local outdoor/gun store had a stack of these spam cans and dual-spam can crates for sale Saturday.... The spam cans were marked $99 and for some reason the dual spam-can crates also had the same $99 sticker on them!

    Chick at the register tells me "Man we are selling a lot of those crate thingys today".

    Gee, I wonder why. :bigthumb::bigthumb::bigthumb:

    is it true that pretty much any ammo that comes in those cans is corrosive?

    The only stuff that is not corrosive that I have seen coming in spam cans is the silver bear ammo but good luck finding any in the spam can. The reason that all military surplus is corrosive is that it was found that the corrosive priming compound was more reliable in cold weather.
