    This shit is addicting.

    Should I....

    1) buy a backpack and a Sigma 10-22 or Nikkor 10.5mm

    OR

    2) go ahead and buy the Apple Mac Pro, and I would have to add a bit of my own money to get it... but I would have to wait until next month to get Photoshop and Lightroom (don't want a pirated copy since its a business expense. Not willing to take the chance!!!

Suggestions between the lenses would be appreciated. I would love both, but its not doable at the moment. :hs:

The only reason I'm leaning toward the 10-20 is because when I shoot group pics, wedding party pics, I don't have to back up to get everyone. :dunno:

I just don't think a fisheye group shot would be 'professional' all the time.

as someone who owns both an ultra wide and a fish eye I can say your thinking is correct.

what other lenses do you own though?

    i love my 10.5 fisheye
    Get that!

Edit, just saw your last post. Definitely isn't the most professional type of lens, but it sure is fun to have

    Sigma 24-70 f/2.8
    Nikkor 50 f/1.4
    Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VR

and the Sigma 18-200 f/3.5-6.3 OS as a walk around lens. :o

I'll eventually have both, I'm just considering which one to get first... and the 10-20 is probably the best choice right off the bat. Both are about the same price. :o

I wouldn't rely on the 10.5 for wide shots if this is for weddings. Those bridesmaids at the ends would be bitching about how distorted their asses got.

I'd go for the macpro, and start stashing your lunch money from the wife for a nikon 12-24 dx or 14-24.

I've had a talk w/ her... I won't be doing any stashing. As long as she knows its a business expense and I 'pace myself', she's ok w/ whatever I want.

dude. then you could get two lenses.

I just picked up an MC-30 and an SB800 today. Having fun tossing the flash around the apt and triggering it with commander mde.
