My midsection sucks, situps aren't enough... help meeee

    Besides crunches whats some other basic stuff i can do at home that can beef up my midsection.

    I also do deadlifts I guess they help.

    are you trying to stengthen or just be all beach broly?

    or both?

    I say continue with the deads, crunches, etc and try to skim off some bodyfat to get the abs to peek through.

    Broly.
    I have a small midsection.
    Its tiny compared to my chest and shoulders so its a bit disproportionate.
    I want to add meat and size to that area. :eek4:

    Start grappling.

    Wrestling and BJJ helped make me thicker and stronger through my midsection moreso than anything else I've tried.

    I do a lot of weighted ab exercises in the 15 rep range for 4 sets or so 1-2 times a week and I've noticed a MAJOR improvement in my abs in the last 4 months I've been working them.

    Now I've just gotta trim the fat off those suckers.

    Expensive way to strenghten midsection!

    Though BJJ will help you with SOOOOO much, including having a ridiculous good time.

    static hold exercises like ab bridges have really made my abs a lot larger in the last 4 months.

    Deadlifts, squats, weighted situps...It's all you need to know.
