I need to install windows on it because of some engineering programs that I need to use. I've heard of Bootcamp and Parallels, which one is better? Also, is it worth buying a mac mouse and keyboard, or should I use the one for my PC?

    like mentioned before...
any mouse you want, i personally can't stand the mac mice (mighty mouse blows)
keyboard, i'd get an apple keyboard...it has the proper keys..

    bootcamp vs parallels?
I prefer parallels to be honest, on my dad's mbp running windows is super quick, doesn't feel like both osx and windows are running at the same time. and i like the fact that you can switch in and out of them with a mouse click/button press...

he's got 1.5 gigs of ram on his.
