Just need a cheap simple rear sight.

Also, what length bag would I need for a 16" AR?

Right after M&A called my local gun shop called to let me know a GSG5 came in and I was first in line for it. Had to say no :hs:

I went with a Larue BUIS as it's solid.

There's lots of different BUIS. I would suggest the Magpul BU(P?)S but I think they are hard to get a hold of right now. I got an ARMS 40L off ARFCOM a while back for $75 shipped, I'd watch the river of guns website for a good deal on a used rear sight.

a 36" bag should be fine for a 16" seems like a lot of people are happy with the $50 MOLLE bag on Cheaper Than Dirt.

Yeah thats the bag I as gonna get, just wasnt sure if 36" as the correct size. I think i'll go with MBUS on my SBR build. I want an iron sight on the M4.

How about the matech 600 meter backup? Looks kind of bulky, but only $50

folding (for cheap but still quality): I have an ARMS 40L, but it's about $110 most places. M&A has the YHM for about $80

16" M4 with collapsible stock should be about 34" long. 36" bag should work.

  7. My 31" long AR fits nicely in the 36" CTD bag. I'd say that 34" is probably the longest you could get in there.

I've ran yhm folding sights before (front and rear) They were great and on the cheaper side for sights.

I've got troy folding sights right now and I love them, but they're on the spendy side.

I want mbus for my 9mm build because you can get a complete set for the cost of a back.
