My log to a 1000lb total and brofyfication

    I will be starting the christophers routine tommorow to try and put on some mass and get my numbers up. I started working out a year ago, i wa sworking out and eating loadds for about 3 months until, I started working. 70 hour weeks killed my chance at working out and eating so I gave up on it for the last 8 months. Now I am back in school and can dedicate myself to lifting. I will post up my stas and pictures tomorrow, becuase I am too tired to do it now

    my stats as of now are

    height:5"9
    weight:142
    bf:around 11-12%

    in a couple of hours I will be hitting the gym for the first day of the routine and I will report back afterwards

    Just got back from the gym, this routine kicked my ass today. I think next week I will leave dl until last. My back is dead between dl's and squats. here it goes

    All 5rm

    Deadlifts
    135 (warmup)
    225
    235

    255
    265X3

    Squats ATG

    Bench

    total 5rm=555

    Overall I like the routine and I think that with 6-9 months on it I can make some decent progress

    holy shit, you pull a lot for a beginner, esp. at that weight.. do your squats before you DL though

    Light ATG Squats

    Good mornings (first time doing these)

    just putting the routine up so that I can look at it easily

    time. don't whine about bench/squat/dead in the same workout as most of you can easily handle that.

    Monday
    Squats-5x5(Do four progressively heavier sets of 5 with the 5th set being your 5RM.)
    Deadlifts-5x5(Do the same)
    Bench Press-5x5(Do the same)
    Incline DB Press-2x12-20

    Wednesday
    Light Squats or Lunges-4x8 each leg
    Good Mornings-3x8-12
    Shoulder Press-5x5 or Dips-4xmax until you get 12 each time. then add weight.
    Pullups-4xmax

    Friday
    Squats-warmup to a 3 reps with 5 more lbs than you used on Monday. On the following monday use this weight for your 5th set. - YOU ********TING SKEETRAGS, WARM UP TO A THREE REP MAX WITH 5lbs MORE THAN YOUR HEAVIEST SET ON MONDAY. THE NEXT MONDAY USE THAT WEIGHT ON YOUR LAST SET.

    Tricep Extensions-2x12-20

    got back to the gym finally after nearly 3 weeks off, io will be able to be consistent all the way up to christmas now so let the gains begin. I have also nailed my diet down
