    I don't know a lot about studio stuff, do those wrinkles not show up in the pictures? :dunno:

    ideally you want a lot of room between subject and background. but in this instance he's removing the background all together. having less wrinkles will make that easier though

    he's using the green so he can easily replace the background with another one in post :o

    You should definitely use some closet doors to avoid mixing light... It'll probably make your life quite a bit easier.

    I've been wanting to get back into green screen stuff....

    To control spill. If you didn't have the doors or flags, the light from the strobes on the sides would spill onto the model. The strobes on the sides are to light the background not the model.
