I can't figure out what to say at the very end.
I would have to pay out of pocket to ship it back.. wait for them to receive it, wait for them to "OK" an exchange, then wait for them to send me a new one. No thanks. They'd probably wait a week to tell me that they received it, then they'd be out of stock and I wouldn't get another for 2 months. At least it was only $20 + $9 S/H
Local seamstress could probably fix that up for you.
You sound indecisive.
I would jump on live chat. Send them a link to the picture. Try to work a discount. Then being the handy guy I am I would break out thread and needle and patch that bad boy up.
+1, pull up your fucking skirt girl scout
In for sewing machine thread. I bet MG can sew some mean clothes
it took 5 weeks to receive an item from my original order.. and I only got it this early cause I removed it from that order and put it in a second that didn't have backordered items in it. there were only ever 4 items that I wanted.. when I finally received two of them.. one of them was defective
my point in the first reply was that it wasn't cost-beneficial to send it back. I can buy a needle and thread for less than it would cost me to ship it back to them
Sucks, but it'll be cheaper to have someone local fix it for you than to ship it back. Hell, sewing is pretty easy and you should be able to fix it.
Right try for a $5 discount or a coupon code etc. Then just sew it up, profit, and feel good about fixing it yo damn self.
TLR-1 is , though
you're mad at them because the bag has a hole in it? i'm sure they put the hole in it.
I was the first one done sewing my apron in home ec in middle school. For the record, everyone had to take the class, and we all had to make aprons.
I had to make a pillow case. It was probably the coolest Transformers case you had ever seen.
we made kick ass pencil cases that attached to your 3 ring binder.
We also made brownies with eggs that were left in someones locker over the weekend.
This thread just got a lot better than "theres a hole in my bag".
Anyone else make anything cool in Home Ec or shop class?
whatever you say, apron making faerie
We paid a kid $5 to eat a whole stick of butter in my Home Ec/Foods class
We paid a kid a dollar a piece to eat live goldfish in shop class. I think I still owe him like 20 bucks
what were goldfish doing in shop class? let alone 20+ gold fish
where the fuck did the goldfish come from in your shop class.
The same kid got paid $20 to eat frog eggs in like 10th grade BIO when we dissected pregnant frogs
can't you get sick from Formaldehyde?
Our shop class had a bunch of competitive projects; rockets, co2 cartridge powered cars, marshmallow catapults, Frisbee flinging machines, lots of cool shit that just wouldn't fly with todays schools.
One of the things we made were boats that raced down like 50' of huge pvc pipes cut in half. The teacher allowed people to bring in gold fish to keep in there for the week or two that we worked on that project.
Those were the day kids these days just don't know. Mr. Case was a kick ass teacher, from his horrific stories of machines mangling kids to his "if you start shit in his class take it outside right there and finish it" attitude.
I'm pretty sure crackheads dip their joints in it
they also inhale fumes of fermenting shit
