never use it for direct flash, so why diffuse light that is bouncing off a ceiling?
the warming gel adds a nice wb tone to a very cool flash color temp, looks more pleasing IMO :hs:

I have that omni-bouncer. It works pretty well for diffusing light if you don't have anything to bounce it off of. i.e. fill light, large indoor areas, etc.

I was taking photos the other day at SO parent's home for a party and they have huge valted wood ceilings. There was nothing for me to bounce off of :( so I had to use some direct flash :barf:

I'm excited to give this a whirl.

i've been going back and forth on flash diffusers for sooo long...

There's a fake omni bounce out there that gets more appealing every day....

I really really like diffusers especially when you can't bounce.

only slightly, faces are normally lit by the front side with most of the bounce light going into hair / bodies / room, so doesnt seem like it would be too much of an issue.

cool idea viper. time to sacrifice a stofen eh?
