I detailed my car last week. we had our big annual subaru meet so I wanted the car to look nice. I had some new pads and new products to work with and I am very pleased with the results. I even won best subaru out our local meet out of 287 other subies :naughty: I didn't get a chance to take that great of pictures after the detail but I finally got some tonight.

    Detail consisted of

-wash with NXT car wash (always used mr. clean autodry before this, pretty much the same results. maybe the nxt isn't as harsh as the mr clean soap?)
-opt. polish w/ orange propel light cut pad
-opt. polish w/ green propel polish pad (only on higher panels that needed more removing)
-poorboys EX-P w/ blue propel sealant pad
-clearkote carnuaba moose wax w/ grey propel pad

So yea wash went well, spent alot of time cleaning everything. inside all door jams, wheel wells as much as I could, etc... Then moved on to Opt. Polish and worked it in well with the light cutting pad. Before I only used a green pad with this polish and never could get some swirls out. With the light cut pad it heated things up a bit more and really worked the product down. Then moved on to EX-P, let it sit for about 45 min then removed it easly. Next came the wax. First time using this was as I previously had s100. I like the moose wax WAY better. Instantly after putting it on the paint shined. I removed it right away after each panel and it came off very easy.

The day after i checked out the car in the sun and there were no swirl marks. The car got a bit dusty at the car meet so I washed it today before taking pics. The car cleaned up very easy and still shines pretty well. I need a respray bad on the front lip and bumper as It's chipped pretty bad but the rest of the car is awesome.

On with the pics now :) Came out a little dark as we had to wash my friends car before taking pics and the sun went down. Also have some new wheels on the car that I'm test fitting for work, tires are pretty big.

    No post left behind +1

I figured I would post and let you know that the car is definitely badass. I have a hardon for STI's. Anyway, the car looks great. You might have gotten more feedback if the pics were a little clearer and we had some before shots :)

So I should ditch the S100 for the moose wax?

I personally like Carnauba Moose more than S100. Deeper, darkens paint more and more durable.
