Is there a way to stop that?

Ive heard of 'Extra initialization commands', apperently theres a code that will stop the disconnecting, not sure if it'll work in my case though

I'm assuming you're talking about a 56k link. Dial-Up Networking connections in Windows have "log-off after x amount of inactivity" enabled by default. You may want to check that out.

You can send keep alive messages to your ISP if they're loggin you off due to inactivity. There's lots of progs that do this. If you are truly working during the entire time though there is no need and you have an issue with the ISP, not with your modem.

Yeah yeah, you know i would have it already, but im young and jobless, adsl is 2wice as much monthly, and although thats worthwhile i still cant afford it properly.

Also, the actual ISP has a 2 hour rule, i was just wondering if there is a way to bypass it.

    Guess not
