I was supposed to get $5,000 when i signed up...never got it. I had to write my congressman 3times just to get things rolling. Finally 3 years later i got it.

Search for my bonus story. Reenlisted for 6 years for the $15k bonus. Comes in two payments. Got payment #1 pretty quick. Waited and waiting for #2. My units admin clerk looked into it for me. Turns out National Guard Bureau changed the policy and I could only the get bonus in a 50/50 split, but my contract was signed off for lump sum payment. The IG told me I was SOL. Company commander stood around and played with his nuts instead of working on my issue. New commander comes in, makes a few calls, I gets paid!

It depends on what bonus program they had when you signed your contract.

you could probably get a breach of contract. i'm here at AIT for the Army and some people got pushed out of their AIT class even though they had a valid reservation, and they got out of the Army through breach of contract. They didn't even need a lawyer.

But, I don't really understand why you'd do that, when you made it through the toughest part already. This is Fort Sam Houston too, where AIT is a joke. (as long as you arent a combat medic)

FSTMX5 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.

    you both are right.
The gov puts exclusions and contingencies on all of their contracts. If they renig, all they have to do is offer you the option to get out. You do not have any legal ground to stand on.
