Beautiful car. I agree with privious statements about rollin in that over the 350Z. I see so many 350Z's now, they are like cockroaches.

Its part of the V1 radar detector. It makes it so you don't have to look up at the V1 when it goes off.

Thanks for the replies. I originally test drove a 350z and :bark:>interior. I couldnt even move my arms once i was seated with the door closed. (I'm 6'4 260lbs) I'm much happier with this car. I used to own a 1996 impala and this is so much more fun to drive!

i LOVE the smooth lines of the 350z and infinity G35c. I adore how there are no door mouldings, and everything just runs together.

why cant more cars be like it?

The G35 isn't in the same market as the Evo VIII.

G35 = Competing with BMW 3-series, Acura TL, Audi TT, Audi A4

Evo VIII = Competing with RX-8, WRX STi, SRT-4, 350Z

Being 19, I used to be all into the import scene. AKA: How much can i spend on the motor in my $1000 Honda Civic HX Body with one fuckin rearview mirror, no tach and more metal on the inside than on the outside. It was fun and all, but I can sacrifice not having a low 13 sec. car for a much nicer car that is a little slower. You'll learn one day.

On a Side note, why did you get the idea to even give the EVO your attention, with all the horror stories of a Mitsubishi in my head, that car never even crossed my mind. The Subaru supposedly has much better reliability as well as looks. If all I wanted was speed, I slang the STI any day of the week over the :greddy: looking EVO

I have to agree. Not to mention, a girl couldn't give a fuck less about a 13 second car when she has to manually crank the window up herself.. heh. I'm all about luxury now, especially during this time of the year i.e. girls + heated leather seats = :naughty:

I agree, but it's nice to know that if you ever do get back into the 1/4 mile times, Stillen is now selling a supercharger to go along with the new cat-back exhausts and intakes for sale for the G35's . With a combined spec of almost 380 HP, for just under 6 grand that would be a wonderful ride.

Wow, 6 grand isn't bad for all that power. Especially considering the car is only about $30k to begin with. $36k for an M3 killer :eek3:

Monkey Boy, I've only been able to find a G35c for 35k in Cali so if you can find one for 30 I would just buy it; and TheGreatTonge: I'm not sure if it is the same size, but Stillen makes the supercharger for both the G35 and the 350Z. However, rumor has it that they are also developing a turbocharger for the 350Z, no word yet on how much that will boost HP, but I don't doubt it will be a significant gain.

There are people buyin up the greddy kit on the g35 forums. And from what ive been reading there have been problems with the superchargers. A lot of people are blowing their motors with the ATI kit, as well as the stillen. The stillen is ugly anyways with the cowlhood you have to buy to make it fit :barf:
