    somewhat small but ive gone from weighing 160 to 174 started out 2 months ago benching 115... struggling with that now i'm repping at 195 for my bench and working out the rest of my body as well...

    I've gone from benching 40kg (on feb 10th when i started. to 60kg now)

    I feel i've done alright there.

    mate the serious gains you are having ARE from n00b gains, but n00b gains are nothing to be ashamed of dude.

    i went from being hard pressed to bench 40kgx10 to being able to bench 80kgx10x3 in around 10 weeks.. these are NOOB gains.

    doesnt mean you arent working your ass off and shouldnt be proud of yourself.. but sooner or later the serious gains will taper off and you'll find it a LOT harder to continue..

    you are saying that n00b gains didnt play a party in such a huge increase? please.

    you came close to doubling your max in 8 weeks

    If he reps 195 4 times, he basically doubled his max in 8 weeks. I thought I had some good noob gains, but that's pretty ridiculous.. and the fact that he doesn't think noob gains are a good thing is what makes this thread :greddy:

    I don't think you know what noob gains are...its when new people start working out, and it shocks the body and they grow quicker than normal...its not a bad thing
