    Your exercises heat up the hot water tank it's attached to.

    Why you would bend the weights like that on the smith bar I don't know, but yeah looks like a combo smith/lat machine.

    A machine that looks like it does a lot, but only one person uses it and that's for biceps curls :big grin:

    Maybe to fit it in tight spaces easier?? I know the smith at my old gym was so close to the squat rack that you couldn't load weights on either if someone was in the middle of reps. There was like 6 inches between bar ends.. Wobbly people would sometimes smack the smith machine bar while too... sucked.

    That's a good point, I didn't think of that. Yeah they have the smith machine next to the leg press at one gym I go to. If stacking weights at the same times you can't get through.

    Also thinking now, that bent bar like that could also help stabilise the whole machine.

    its bent so they can put it in a corner of a room rather than along a wall
